A new patisserie and coffee bar is opening on the lively Rokin in Amsterdam, where a passion for pastry and coffee defines everything they do. Originally constructed as an horlogerie, a repair shop for mechanical watches, the space still carries subtle references to time within its architectural details. Studio Modijefsky draws on this layered past to envision an authentic, craft-driven interior designed for people on the move, warm, inviting, and full of character, even without a place to sit. It’s a place where grabbing a perfectly brewed coffee or freshly made pastry becomes a refined moment of pause before continuing your journey through the city.

Studio Modijefsky is enthusiastic to realise a timeless interior that reflects the artisanal quality, elegance, and craftsmanship of the patisserie: a refined balance between functionality and aesthetics, creating a complete sensory experience from street to counter to kitchen.
